WHAT IF:

PROTESTING WILL IMPEDE THE ADVANCEMENT OF CLIMATE CHANGE?

PROTEST:

An expression or declaration of objection, disapproval, or dissent, often in opposition to something a person is powerless to prevent or avoid.

CRITICAL THINKING:

“Superflat” is Murakami’s protest of Post-World War II. The protest against World War III is a campaign of Temporal Weapons that strike against Climate Change in Singapore.

SYNOPSIS:

A protest of climate change in Singapore is acted with the effects of different Temporal Weapons of Mass Demonstration strategically positioned throughout Singapore that operates as a “pop-up” defence mechanism during the various times of climate attacks. When not in use, the “weapons” come together to form the Ministry of Children that acts as the voice for the future generation. This thesis speculates the temporary architecture of a protest and celebration of its fight against climate change.
